This policy explains how we handle information when you visit the buenaventura labs website or get in touch with the studio.
Who is responsible for your information
Ivan Urra, trading as buenaventura labs, is responsible for handling enquiries received through this website. If you have a question about privacy, email buenaventuralabs@proton.me.
When you visit the website
We haven’t added advertising, registration forms, analytics or tracking tools to this website. We don’t use advertising cookies or store preferences in your browser.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time of the request. This helps serve the website, keep it secure and diagnose problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website.
When you email us
The contact links open your email app. If you send us a message, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments you choose to include. We use these to reply, discuss your project or manage our working relationship.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, fulfilling a contract where one exists, or our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries. We don’t add your address to a marketing list or sell your information.
Our providers and how long we keep information
We use Vercel to host the website and Proton Mail for the studio’s email. These providers process information under their own terms and policies. Depending on the service and its infrastructure, information may be processed outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards.
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and manage any resulting working relationship. Where the law requires us to keep particular records, we retain them for the required period.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your personal information, or object to its processing. Write to buenaventuralabs@proton.me to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority, such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
